Dear Mr. Sean Henry and Preds Fans

Mr Henry,

Re: Your comments (insults) today in the Nashville media.

Respectfully sir, it seems I have struck a nerve. A part-time radio employee with 3000 Twitter followers has your shorts in a knot. It was a short blurb at the bottom of an analytical column about hockey. (I’m sure you remember hockey, the sport which your team plays but precious few of your media actually talk about).

It wasn’t a big deal to me. In a heated series, with passionate fans, media often find themselves in the cross-hairs for misdirected passion. And sometimes media fans those flames. Part of our sports tapestry. It was interesting that your local radio stations urged listeners to create a campaign of hate. I’m sure they must be proud, but that’s a catfish to fry on another day.

However, then you got involved with personal and ugly attacks. I can think of no good reason to do so, other than your own shortcomings. Actually, you didn’t refute my belief that sound is augmented. You merely insulted me.

Me thinks you doth protest too much.

So, I suggest you focus on your task at hand. Winning a Stanley Cup is only the first step to solidifying a growing market.

However, if you must find me, I’m on the seating chart. I only hope you are more professional in person.

Sincerely,

Dan Kingerski

PS–I love the catfish gimmick. Do what you must to keep it. Regardless of your emotional outburst, I love that your market has also rebounded from the Blackberry clutches and is developing tradition, though the orchestrated cheers are a little “Bring It On” for my taste.  Please and thanks.
