12:57 p.m.: Sid and the (little kids).

12:29 p.m.:

11:25 a.m.: Phil Kessel, who got banged up some over the weekend, is not on the ice. Neither is Derick Brassard, who is dealing with immigration issues. That leaves the lines looking like this: Guentzel-Crosby-Rust Hagelin-Malkin-Hornqvist Simon-Sheahan-Sheary Aston-Reese-Rowney-Kuhnhackl.

11:10 a.m.: Winger Tom Kuhnhackl is on the ice in Cranberry for practice in a regular (not non-contact) jersey. As usual, the 11 a.m. practice will be starting at, maybe, 11:15.

Shelly Anderson is live at Penguins Practice in Cranberry. Check back here for all the news, notes and interviews from throughout the day.

The Pens–even with Brassard–now look like the Steelers, needing to score 5 or 6 every game to overcome a weak D and Murray’s on again, off again health..

Ruhwedel has to play over Hunwick or maybe bring up the best WB has to offer (Pedan??), a right handed Oleksiak who can skate (and, as a bonus, is tough).

Maybe kick the tires on Oduya, if they must.
