Podcast! Matt Gajtka’s Big Picture on Tougher-Than-Expected Tweaks

Turns out those trade-deadline changes are requiring more adjustment than some thought.



On the Pittsburgh Hockey Now podcast network, the Big Picture returns for another week, coming to you live from the River’s Edge studios in Millvale.

I open the show by admitting I might’ve underestimated the difficulty of the adjustments the Penguins needed to make following the addition of Derick Brassard and the subtraction of Ian Cole.

At 14:30, I welcomed Alan Saunders to discuss his growing amateur hockey media outlet, Pittsburgh Hockey Digest, and issues pertinent to local high school pucks.

At 35:30, I closed the show with a couple of metrics that keep me bullish about a strong regular-season finish for the Penguins, now in first place after dispatching the Flyers on Wednesday:
