Boyle returned to the NHL this season after no team offered a contract last season. The 6-foot-6 center has played in 19 games with three goals. Two weeks ago, he expressed how much this season meant to him. “It’s not easy because my family’s not here. That’s how important it is, and that’s how great of an opportunity it is,” said Boyle. His wife, Lauren, son, Declan, and daughter, Isabella, live back in Hingham, Mass.

Boyle, 36, didn’t mention child number three was on the way. Welcome, Callum. On Sunday, Radim Zohorna filledBoyle’ss spot as the Pittsburgh Penguins fourth-line center during the Penguins 8-5 win over the San Jose Sharks.

Bedford is a former SI Swimsuit model. The couple was married at Disneyworld in June 2014. Boyle played for the Tampa Bay Lightning from 2014-2017.
