Pittsburgh Penguins Live Chat

(PHN) — Sidney Crosby is injured. Reportedly the Penguins superstar is deciding between a sports hernia surgery and rehab. A surgery could keep the Penguins top center off the ice for an estimated four-to-six weeks, which would place his return somewhere around later December or January., after the NHL Christmas break.

The Penguins struggled without Crosby Tuesday night in a 3-2 OT loss to their division rival New York Rangers. PHN Editor-in-Chief Dan Kingerski dove into the topic, the potential Penguins lines going forward, why Jared McCann and Jake Guentzel should not play together.

Viewers asked Dan to further explain and discuss Alex Galchenyuk’s struggles, and Dan didn’t shy away from the Don Cherry controversy.

Though he did steer clear of controversy himself, we think.

As always, it was a fun and lively chat with viewer interaction and questions.
