Bettman to Make NHL Return to Play Announcement at 4:30 p.m.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will make a formal announcement on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. regarding the NHL Return to Play Plan, according to a league press release, via Twitter.

The league will first brief teams on a conference call around 3 p.m., according to reports from Bob McKenzie of TSN.
NHL GMs will get the details of the NHL RTP format on a 3 p.m. ET conference call with the league.

McKenzie also reported details on the NHL Draft, which Bettman and the league have pushed to be held in June, could be a part of the announcement.
The NHLPA approved the 24-team NHL playoff format on Friday evening in a 29-2 vote. On Monday, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, along with legal and medical council, released a 29-page memo regarding the safety and testing for the move to Phase 2 of the Return to Play Plan.
