After 1,733 games and 24 seasons in the NHL, plus 407 more games in the KHL, and Czech and Czech 2 leagues, the two-time Stanley Cup Champion is hanging on by a thread and playing for a legacy. Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Pittsburgh Penguins haven’t been heard from in a while in the NHL trade chatter. There were plenty of rumors around the league that never happened.  Here are the top five players unexpectedly still on the NHL trade market.

The Hockey News: “Do you know why I’m still playing? I have a responsibility to the club, otherwise, I wouldn’t fly here and I wouldn’t be making a fool of myself,” Jagr told the Hockey News recently. “But if I quit, the partners and sponsors would leave and the club may be done. I have no choice. People don’t understand it, but I don’t care. Only God will judge me. I expect much more from myself, and I also believe that I have it in me.”
