The Calgary Flames and GM Brad Treliving rocked the NHL. Not only did Calgary swipe Stanley Cup-winning center Nazem Kadri from the grasp of the New York Islanders, but then unloaded roughed-up center Sean Monahan on the NHL trade block. The Montreal Canadiens were ready and willing to accept Monahan and a first-round pick. The other league-altering news was Carey Price might be done, Nashville will host the awards and draft, the Pittsburgh Penguins elevated Todd Reirden, and we looked at the star players who could hit the NHL trade block this season.
