Dan’s Daily: Cozens Criticizes Aston-Reese Hit, Eichel Trade Cost?

NHL Trade Jack Eichel, pittsburgh penguins, vegas golden knights

The Buffalo Sabres are ground zero for the Daily this weekend. Rookie Dylan Cozens missed a week after Pittsburgh Penguins winger Zach Aston-Reese caught Cozens with a questionable hit last week. Jack Eichel trade talk is bubbling again, so what would the NHL trade market look like? And the Penguins updated Evgeni Malkin’s status.

Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Penguins performance on Thursday night showed a glaring flaw, and an S.O.S. to GM Ron Hextall to hit the NHL trade market.

After practice on Friday, head coach Mike Sullivan said Malkin was out week-to-week, and Jared McCann is ready to return.

Buffalo News: “Unneccessary and dangerous.” Dylan Cozens will return to the Buffalo Sabres lineup this weekend. He still isn’t happy with Zach Aston-Reese’s hit last weekend.

NHL Trade Talk…

Sportnet: The Jack Eichel trade talk is bubbling back to the surface. Elliotte Friedman discussed what an Eichel trade package would look like.

TSN: Who is on the North Division trade block?

San Jose Hockey Now: Should the San Jose Sharks sit or trade Patrick Marleau?

And–it hasn’t happened yet…

If politicians got the vaccine first, perhaps the public entertainers who have provided a valuable service to society can get the pokes ASAP. With 100 million Americans already receiving the vaccine, our country can spare 1000.

NYI: The Islanders dipped into the KHL to sign their prospect Anatolii Golyshev to a one-year deal.

Colorado: Get this, the Avs are getting a spark from their fourth line

Florida: The Florida Panthers are doing well — very well — in the hypothetical midseason NHL awards

Philly: Film Room–What went wrong? The Flyers gave up three third-period goals to the Islanders.

Vegas: After a false positive test, William Karlsson did what great stories need–he scored a historic game-winning goal on Friday night.

Please stop with the vaccine stuff, I subscribe for hockey not your take on politics and vaccine matters. Hockey is a get away from stuff like that. Good way to lose certain followers from subscribing but if you say it’s my forum I can talk whatever I want I guess you can afford to lose subscribers. Hopefully you will at least take my comment into consideration. If not plenty of other places to get pens news and information. Hopefully not I like your hockey content. Obviously the ball is always in your court.
