Penguins Announce 2018 Preseason Schedule
The Pittsburgh Penguins quest for a three-in-fourpeat will have its soft opening Sept. 18. The Penguins six-game 2018 preseason schedule begins on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Buffalo. The Penguins first home game will be on Sept. 22 against Columbus, at 3:00 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
Training camp will open at the UPMC Lemieux Complex in Cranberry Township, on Friday, Sept. 14.
The Penguins will play three preseason home games, including the opener against Columbus. They will also play Detroit at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, and Buffalo on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. The game against Detroit on Sept. 23 will be the annual “Free Game for Kids”.
Per the Penguins press release, Development Camp will begin on June 27, and the Prospects Challenge will be Sept. 6-10 in Buffalo.
The Penguins have not yet released a radio or TV broadcast schedule for the preseason games.
