Penguins Lines and Preview vs. New York Islanders
The Pittsburgh Penguins (6-2-2) will visit the New York Islanders (6-4-1), Thursday, 7 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Tuesday, the Penguins stumbled against the Islanders 6-3 after their successful four-game Canadian road trip. Dominik Simon, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin scored for the Penguins.
Penguins goalie Matt Murray was pulled after allowing four goals on nine shots. However, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan absolved Murray.
“Sometimes when you make a change it’s not about the goalie, it’s about the group,” said Sullivan.
