Pittsburgh Penguins

Penguins vs Wild tonight, start time is 8 P.M. There are no expected line changes.  There are only two unlikely but possible line up changes worth noting:  the first would be if Frank Corrado plays, and the second would be if Casey DeSmith gets the start tonight.

Game day interviews.

Injury report:

Remains unchanged.  Matt Hunwick and Carter Rowney are both expected to be out. Justin Shultz still out with concussion.

The Minnesota Wild is coming off an impressive win over the Islanders, 6-4. Eric Staal and Luke Kunin both scored shorthanded goals. Luke Kunin’s goal was also his first NHL goal. Zach Mitchell scored his first NHL goal, as well. Last season, the Pittsburgh Penguins lost both games to the Minnesota Wild.

Congratulations to Jason Zucker! He’s a dad!  His son’s name is Hendrix.

I sure hope Matt “dad” Cullen is ready for an emotional night.  This is his first game facing the Penguins, since his off-season move back to his home state of Minnesota.
