He’s Back. Penguins Recall Nylander from Wilkes-Barre

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Alex Nylander from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre on an emergency basis.

That suggests there is at least a possibility that neither Drew O’Connor nor Nick Bonino will be cleared to play against Chicago tonight at 7:38 at PPG Paints Arena.

Because Nylander is on an emergency recall, he could not be used against the Blackhawks if the Penguins have 12 other healthy forwards available.

Nylander has one goal and one assist in seven games with the Penguins this season.
