An anomaly, or something more concerning? The Pittsburgh Penguins attempted Wednesday to their put their past two games into proper perspective.

They lost those two games, giving up 15 goals along the way after giving up that many – total – over the previous nine games.

“It’s a short-term thing,” Penguins winger Evan Rodrigues said Wednesday, taking up the anomaly side of the debate.
