Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Casey DeSmith continues to dazzle at the IIHF world championship tournament.

He stopped all 22 shots Denmark threw at him in Team USA’s 3-0 victory at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland Saturday.

DeSmith has won all three of his starts in the tournament, turning aside 75 of 78 shots.

Philadelphia prospect Cutter Gauthier, Buffalo forward Alex Tuch and minor-league forward Rocco Grimaldi scored the U.S. goals against Denmark. Tuch also had two assists.

Team USA is 5-0 at the world championship, which is being contested in Finland and Latvia, and is assured of a berth in the quarterfinals.
