Penguins Add Personnel to Three Departments

The Pittsburgh Penguins have added personnel to three departments.

The hirings were announced by Kyle Dubas, the team’s president of hockey operations and general manager.

The new people are:

Player Development Dept. — Jon Elkin (director of goaltending), Kelly Murray (video analyst, player development), Josh Wrobel and Andrew Fritsch (skills consultants, player development). Elkin had been the head of goaltending evaluation and development in Toronto when Dubas was GM of the Maple Leafs.

High Performance Dept. — Patrick Magee (lead performance coach), Juan Gonzales (strength and conditioning coach), Jason Martin (strength and conditioning coach, player development) and Kourtney Gordon (performance dietician).

Equipment Dept. — Ryan Shoufer (assistant equipment manager).
