Penguins Lineup, Notes, How to Watch vs. Detroit Red Wings
The Pittsburgh Penguins will complete their failed travel attempt and postponed game from Saturday by visiting the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena Monday. It has already been a whirlwind week, and it will continue Monday with a makeshift lineup against some of the Detroit NHL regulars.

The Penguins won their first preseason game with an increasingly dominant performance against the Ottawa Senators Sunday night. Both teams played something akin to their best NHL lineups, and the Penguins stars put an indelible stamp upon the game.
Evgeni Malkin had a hat trick and Sidney Crosby scored two goals in the 5-2 win over Ottawa at Sudbury Community Arena as part of the Kraft Hockeyville Celebration.
The game also featured solid performances from some of the Penguins’ young players, including defensemen Owen Pickering and Harrison Brunicke, whom coach Mike Sullivan refers to as Harry.

The Penguins will take a much less NHL-focused lineup to Detroit Monday, as the team will also play games Tuesday at home against Detroit and then a home-and-home against the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday in Columbus and Friday at PPG Paints Arena.
