So the Dallas Stars President decided to rip his top stars a new one. And the comments had an underlying tone of anger at the media, too. Artemi Panarin has talks scheduled with CBJ and the NHL.com staff took a stab at the All-Star rosters, including a pair of Pittsburgh Penguins.

Go ahead and read up on the Dallas Stars situation (Dallas Morning News).

Here is the original piece which started it all… “Fu***** Horse****” is the quote (The Athletic)

The Stars stars are underperforming. Some nights, their effort isn’t Grade A. That’s a problem. Seguin’s history including getting bounced out of Boston for being a party guy is also relevant. However, there isn’t an excuse for team management shredding its players in the media and then telling the media–you won’t report it, write this!

Call them out. Don’t make an ass of yourself in the process and permanently scar the relationship before the big-money deals begin.

The NHL.com folks took a crack at predicting the NHL All-Star rosters. You can guess who one of the Penguins reps should be (NHL.com)

The Pittsburgh Penguins should have two players on the Metro team. No question.

Agent Dan Milstein and Artemi Panarin are driving the conversation. Milstein is already talking about looking around the league to find the best fit. However, he and the Columbus Blue Jackets are set to chat at the All-Star Game (TSN)

The Buffalo Sabres are the Cinderella in the NHL standings. They are about to begin the real test (Buffalo News)

And if you can’t beat ’em, fight ’em. Another brawl on Long Island. Three fights in the final 30 seconds. What, you think you’re better than me?!
