Penguins Live Chat: Draft Potentials; Laine, Goodrow, UFA/Trade Targets

And away we go. Another Pittsburgh Penguins Live Chat with PHN’s Dan Kingerski. On the docket this week are a couple of potential Penguins draft targets, trade targets, potential buyout candidates and whatever else our hockey-crazy readers bring to the table.

We’ll start with two prospects, one of whom is 6-foot-7, the other a slick right-handed defenseman.

Of course, the NHL trade rumors are swirling around Patrik Laine, as he and the Columbus Blue Jackets are seeking a trade so the player can get a fresh start after four seasons of below-expectation production. And what to do about Barclay Goodrow? Will the San Jose Sharks claim him, or will he be a buyout candidate?

That and all of your questions, comments and the Stanley Cup Final, too.

I thought so, too. But his offense is not there. Not sure how they see him. It’s an error on my part to frequently omit him from the discussion.
