The summer lovin’ could happen so fast. The Pittsburgh Penguins are unofficially dead in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Their official extinction is probably a couple of weeks away, but barring a collapse by several teams and an undefeated stretch by the Penguins, white flags should be raised in surrender.
