Consequences: PHN Pittsburgh Penguins Live Chat w/ Dan Kingerski
And here we go with our Editor in Chief Dan Kingerski. In the first Live Chat since the offseason, Dan will break down the Pittsburgh Penguins Game 5 loss to the New York Islanders, steer into the heavy criticism some players are receiving and lay out what is justified, what is “silliness” and who should be receiving more of it.
The show starts at 1 p.m. and you know Dan is always honest, to a fault.
The Penguins lost Game 5 in Double OT after goaltender Tristan Jarry misplayed a puck to Josh Bailey, who buried the wrist shot from the slot.
The Penguins outshot New York 50-28 and had 84 shot attempts. The Penguins also had 70% of the scoring chances, according to NaturalStatTrick.com, too.
But a loss is a loss, and Dan plans to not only show what the Pittsburgh Penguins did right, but where they erred, who really erred, and look ahead to Game 6–and the potentially massive consequences of a loss.
Based on Dan’s Tuesday morning column, he will defend a few players and put the boots to a few more, but the consequences of a loss could shake the Penguins foundation.
