Pittsburgh Penguins, NHL trade, Marc-Andre Fleury

The Pittsburgh Penguins exploded for three unanswered goals, including the OT game-winner. Sidney Crosby scored his 500th goal, his parents got a raucous ovation, and the PPG Paints Arena crowd was silly loud. That much you know. The rest of the hockey world kept spinning, too. The Washington Capitals are fishing for a forward in the NHL trade pond, Vegas Golden Knights GM Kelly McCrimmon flattened Marc-Andre Fleury trade talk, and Slovakia upset Team USA.

And, a former Penguin is dating Sarah Palin. Oh dear lord, I don’t want to read the comments today…

Philly: The view from Philly. The Penguins won, but the Philadelphia Flyers blew a late two-goal lead.

NYI: Freeeee–free fallin’. The Penguins will not have to worry about Barry Trotz in the 2022 NHL playoffs. The Buffalo Sabres were the latest team to beat the New York Islanders.

NY Post: Former New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins forward, Ron Duguay, meet Sarah Palin. She seems to like the athletes. The pair are dating...

If there’s a reality show coming, I’m done. Out. Off the planet. Vaya con Dios.

Colorado: Terry Frei slams the Vegas Golden Knights for “Kucherov’ing” Mark Stone to get a leg up on the Colorado Avalanche.

I’m not sure, but I think this keyboard coined the verb “Kucherov,” or at very least I helped push it.

San Jose: And…the Arizona Coyotes were burned by an AHL team. The San Jose Barracuda AHL team put them on a spit and roasted them via Twitter.
