Dan’s Daily: Jarry Soaring, Marchand Snaps, Vegas on the Trade Market

Isn’t it nice to have the news dominated by player performances and NHL trade rumors instead of COVID? It appears a setback in his comeback will shove Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask into retirement. On Tuesday night, Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry resumed his brick-wall routine against the Bruins. And Jack Eichel’s impending return means the Vegas Golden Knights must become sellers.
Oh, and you may have heard of a bit of an incident between Brad Marchand and Tristan Jarry at the end of Tuesday’s game. We’ll start with the game itself if that’s cool.
PHN+: The Penguins were not very good against the Boston Bruins. The Penguins were outshot 45-25, and this time no one can blame Evgeni Malkin for the Penguins allowing a ridiculous number of shots. Get the game insights, Penguins chalkboard, and Pittsburgh Penguins player grades.

Boston: Here’s the view from the other side of the incident. And Patrice Bergeron may have a concussion after he and Sidney Crosby tangled near the boards. There’s not much pushback about Marchand from the Boston Bruins.
