Sidney Crosby avoided saying it, as did John Marino. On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ best player in their Ambien-like loss to the Philadelphia Flyers was goalie Louis Domingue, but the Penguins’ cycle of inconsistency and losing continued even against the decimated and soft Flyers.
The players took the positives. Head coach Mike Sullivan decidedly did not.
It’s about time someone said it.
