Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins allowed just one goal in the first eight periods of their three-game Canadian trip. After beating the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs, the Penguins had a chance to sweep their trip with a win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Danton Heinen scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period for a 2-1 Penguins lead. Jake Guentzel scored the empty netter on his eighth shot on goal.

Both goalies had to make sparkling saves as Penguins netminder Tristan Jarry and Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck took turns silencing Grade A scoring chances.

Jarry stopped 30 of 31 shots.

Guentzel led all players with eight shots on goal. Dan will break down the Penguins game, dish praise, and probably a few boots, too.

The show starts at 11:30 p.m. EST from the PHN home studios. Make sure to like and subscribe to the channel:
