CRANBERRY TWP. — Mike Sullivan spoke with the media at length on Monday about the decisions he has to make as Penguins head coach this week as his team prepares for an interesting first-round matchup with the New York Islanders.

The Islanders are coached by defending Stanley Cup champion and former Washington Capitals head coach Barry Trotz, whose team eliminated the Penguins a year ago.

This time, he won’t have superstars like Alexander Ovechkin, but he does have a defensive system that is going to challenge the Penguins.
