Head coach Mike Sullivan admitted the Pittsburgh Penguins coaches worried the team wouldn’t have their best on Wednesday night. After a long travel day, there was cause for concern getting home from Winnipeg after a three-game road trip.

Instead, the Penguins beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-1.

The Penguins weren’t great but were the better team. Goalie Tristan Jarry was brilliant again, lowered his GAA to 2.03, and upped his save percentage to .933.

Bottom sixers Evan Rodrigues, Zach Aston-Reese, and Brock McGinn scored for the Penguins, who are getting an uncommon amount of scoring from their bottom lines.
