Penguins
Six games, three at home, on Penguins’ preseason schedule

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ preseason schedule will have a familiar look this fall, but there will be a twist.
They will play home and away games against Columbus, Detroit and Buffalo, teams that have been their exhibition opponents for several seasons.
This time, however, both games against the Blue Jackets will be on the same day, in a split-squad double-header.
The teams will meet Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena, then again that evening at 7 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
Here is the rest of the Penguins’ exhibition schedule:
Sept. 27 — Detroit at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
Oct. 1 — at Buffalo at 1 p.m.
Oct. 3 — at Detroit at 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 7 — Buffalo at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena
TV and radio information for the preseason games will be announced at a later date.
Okay, barely enough time between games for a late afternoon road trip down I-70 by fanatical fans to make both games!
I’m guessing that the road teams’ lineups will be less-than-loaded that day.
Assumed as much from your copy, DM, but that won’t slow down the fan-atic. Lol.
People hurrying to attend the game in Columbus after being at the one here will want to be aware of the speed traps that often turn up on I-70 in Ohio. Getting pulled over for exceeding the limit could cost you time (and a lot of money).
Sounds like the regular season will start around October 10 or later.
