Penguins Prospects Challenge Analysis: Legare Stirs the Pot, Hallander Nets 2 vs. Bruins (+)

BUFFALO  — This is the Pittsburgh Penguins running file during and after the  Prospects Challenge game against their counterparts from the Boston Bruins.



A few players had good starts, including Sam Poulin, who quickly established a physical presence in front of the Bruins net and scored the game’s first goal. About 90 seconds into the game, Poulin converted a power-play rebound.

Filip Hallander scored another power-play goal two minutes later, near the net.

Valtteri Puustinen scored a third power-play goal a few minutes later with a wrister from the circle.
