CRANBERRY — The Pittsburgh Penguins, mired in a four-game losing streak, tweaked their roster Monday.

They have recalled forward Drew O’Connor from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre and sent forward Drake Caggiula there.

O’Connor, 24, was one of the first players on the ice for the Penguins’ noon practice at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

O’Connor has two goals and four assists in eight games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season.

He is 6 foot 3, 220 pounds and has three goals and three assists in 32 career games with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

O’Connor joined the Penguins as an undrafted free agent out of Dartmouth in 2020 and is working on a one-year contract.

Drake Caggiula, who was recalled last week, did not earn a point during three appearances with the parent club.
