Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Buffalo Sabres

The Pittsburgh Penguins hockey preseason begins Monday night in State College at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Penguins face the Penn State alumni-owned (and major hockey donor) Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on www.pittsburghpenguins.com

The Penguins initial cuts could come as soon, and they will play with only six NHL regulars including goalie Casey DeSmith. The Penguins invited 56 players to camp and have scrimmaged and participated in conditioning drills since Friday.
