Crosby Joins Teammates for Informal Workout

CRANBERRY — Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has joined his teammates for informal workouts at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in advance of training camp opening next Thursday.

He had been in Las Vegas in conjunction with an NHL media tour.

The veteran players worked out on the second rink at the Penguins’ practice facility today because their squad of prospects, which is going to compete in the Prospects Challenge tournament in Buffalo that begins tomorrow, was on the primary ice surface.
