Penguins to Play Three Games at Prospect Challenge

In what has become an annual event, the Pittsburgh Penguins will participate in the 2025 Prospect Challenge in mid-September. We now know their schedule, which will feature three games at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo.
The Penguins’ prospects will face the Boston Bruins’ prospects Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m., the Columbus Blue Jackets’ prospects Sept. 14 at 3:30 p.m., and the Buffalo Sabres’ prospects Sept. 15 at noon.
The Penguins’ prospect pool continues to grow, and some of the intrigue was on display recently at their development camp. The roster for the prospect tournament will be announced at a later date. Tickets are now available here.
The team’s regular training camp is expected to open after the Prospect Challenge.
The Penguins’ regular season will open Oct. 7 in New York against the Rangers.
