Teddy Blueger Pittsburgh Penguins trade

The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated center Teddy Blueger off the Long-Term Injured list.

He has not appeared in a game this season, but is eligible to play when the Penguins face Toronto tonight at 7:08 at PPG Paints Arena.

There was no immediate word on whether he will be in the lineup against the Maple Leafs, although the timing of his activation suggests there’s a good chance he will be.

The Penguins opened a spot on the major-league roster for Teddy Blueger by assigning forward Filip Hallander to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre.

Blueger, 26, was injured during training camp. He generally centers the fourth line and is one of the Penguins’ go-to penalty-killers.
