Penguins Make First Round of Training-Camp Cuts

The Pittsburgh Penguins pared their training-camp roster to 56 with a pair of moves Monday.
They returned defenseman Isaac Belliveau to Gatineau of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and defenseman Ryan McCleary to Portland of the Western Hockey League.
The Penguins had a day off Monday and will face Detroit in a preseason game Tuesday at 7:08 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena after splitting an exhibition double-header with Columbus Sunday.
