The Pittsburgh Penguins reassigned goalie Tristan Jarry to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL Saturday morning on a conditioning assignment that can last up to 14 days. However, the Penguins organization continued making moves to accommodate Jarry’s playing time and the progression of their prospects.

The WBS Penguins assigned prospect goalie Sergie Murashov to Wheeling of the ECHL to make room for Jarry.

Murashov made his AHL debut on Sunday, Oct. 13. He stopped 27 in a win over the Springfield Thunderbirds. Filip Larsson has started the other four games for WBS.

Murashov was the Penguins’ 2022 fourth-round draft pick (118th overall). He dominated the Russian Junior League (MHL) last season, posting a .930 save percentage. In four MHL seasons, he posted a 73-30-12 record, a 2.04 goals against average, a .934 save percentage, and 22 shutouts.

He played in seven KHL games with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. He was 4-1-2 with one shutout.
