Pittsburgh Penguins, Dan Kingerski, WPXI Final Word

It was time to play the music, time to light the lights. Our Dan Kingerski returned to Pittsburgh for his weekly appearance on WPXI’s Final Word. Host Jenna Harner tossed the hard topics to the panelists, including what should the Penguins do with Tristan Jarry and the goaltending situation, what should be the GM’s first move, and what would a future with Kyle Dubas in Pittsburgh look like?

As usual, Kingerski had a few unexpected twists and a couple of arcane cultural references.

The panel also included Cale Berger of 93-7 the Fan and Rob Rossi of The Athletic.

Segment 1: The show begins with a debate about the Penguins’ future with Dubas as GM and just five words on the first move to make as Penguins’ GM. Dan managed not to swear. However, he admitted that he thought about it. Our fearless reporter also turned the tables on Harner, a sharp hockey analyst, regarding Dubas.

He’s written enough on Kyle Dubas, and more is coming. Check it out:

Segment 2: What should the Penguins do with Tristan Jarry and their goalie situation? Should they adopt the new thinking of building tandems or go hard after a No. 1 goalie? Also, some stuff about the Steelers’ defense and a Pirates trade:

Segment 3: And the Final Word — Dan skipped the hockey talk for his other sports passion. You’ll just have to watch:
