The Pittsburgh Penguins had 50 shots and 13 high-danger scoring chances, but they trailed 3-1 in the final minutes before losing 6-3 to the Montreal Canadiens at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday night.
The Penguins indeed spent enough time in the offensive zone, but the game was about the quality of chances given up to Montreal vs. the Penguins’ shot volume.
