Watch: PHN Penguins Postgame, Penguins Impressive in 2-0 Win

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry elicited a question about making Team Canada after his second-consecutive shutout of a popular Canadian team. After blanking Montreal on Thursday, Jarry was again unbeatable in the Penguins’ 2-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Join PHN Editor-in-Chief Dan Kingerski as he breaks down what the Penguins did well. Dan’s chalkboard talk illuminated what the Penguins did well, and how they did it.
PHN also rolled through Tristan Jarry’s ascendency, Sidney Crosby’s progression, which player would be the Penguins’ Jenga piece, and Kasperi Kapanen, too.
And, of course, live viewer responses. Like and subscribe to the NHN YouTube channel.
I enjoyed this Postgame video. For those deciding whether or not to watch it, consider:
DK declares Jarry, “the Jenga piece…” much to the consternation of “the resident Misérables.”
and Yoda opines, rather insightfully, “80% Rusty is.”
With the way Jarry has been playing so far this season, who would be ahead of him as far as Canadian Olympic goaltenders? Fun to think about. If Price isn’t ready and Fleury doesn’t start playing more like himself, who does Canada choose to go? Binnington, Talbot, Hart, are right there with Jarry as far as who is playing well so far this season.
