Pittsburgh Penguins win, Dan Kingerski breakdown

Casey DeSmith described his game until this past week as “stiff and boring.” He relaced his skates, got on his toes, and helped the Pittsburgh Penguins earn a 1-0 shutout win over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.

Unlikes much of the past month, the Penguins’ top line was without a goal or even a point. Instead, the Penguins bottom-six piled up chances and scored the game’s only goal. The fourth line with Brian Boyle outchanced the Ducks 7-1. Zach Aston-Reese and Brock McGinn combined for the game’s only goal.

Dan Kingerski breaks down what the Penguins did right, who played well, and which line has gone…shhh…silent.
