Call it frontier justice as the hockey world is torn, Wednesday. Vegas Golden Knights tough guy Ryan Reaves was ejected after he bowled over Capitals forward Tom Wilson. Reaves blindsided Wilson, who escaped suspension last week for a blindside hit on New Jersey Devils forward Brett Seney. And of course, Wilson has been suspended three times in the past 15 months.

The story and the video (The Score).

Tough call isn’t it? No one wants those dirty plays. But Reaves is a master of playing the physical game. He knew exactly who he was about to plant, and we all know why. Sometimes, you just look the other way when a vigilante serves justice the law cannot. Or, I’m also watching too many Marvel Comics series on Netflix?

Seattle is coming and it looks like they will be black with red accent. Here is everything you need to know about the Seattle expansion (Sportsnet).

The Philadelphia Flyers have a new GM and a new assistant coach. It may not be long before they have a new head coach, too. But for now, it’s only an assistant as the Philly house cleaning continues (NBC Sports)

The Penguins, known to be on the trade market, sent assistant GM Bill Guerin to watch Winnipeg beat the New York Islanders, as a scout from Winnipeg watched the Penguins beat Colorado (Pittsburgh Hockey Now).

Break up the Coyotes! Rick Tocchet’s team has won four straight (AZ Central).

And with the addition of Seattle in 18 months, Arizona will slide to the Central Division, which will make frequent trips to Nashville and Chicago such easy travel.

TSN Insider Trading has a few nuggets, too. What will the Maple Leafs do with so much high priced, young talent? (TSN).
