Social media caught up with Sidney Crosby during the Pittsburgh Penguins’ day off Sunday. The team captain and star center not only attended the Pittsburgh Steelers game, but he also got to watch warmups from the sideline.

“You think about it, there’s only eight (guaranteed) home games a year,” Crosby told Pittsburgh Hockey Now, “so sometimes it doesn’t work out that often that we get a chance to go. It’s cool to go over there.

“That’s the first time I’ve been on the field. It was cool to see that, see some of the guys. I was happy to see them get a big win.”

The Steelers beat the Atlanta Falcons 41-17.
