The Boston Bruins are in the Stanley Cup Final. Finally, the championship-starved city of Boston has something to cheer as Boston overwhelmed Carolina in the Eastern Conference Final. The Edmonton Oilers fan base and organization is dealing with Craig MacTavish bolting after 35 years. The San Jose Sharks are using their two video review gifts as good omens instead of bad rules. And the St. Louis Blues fans turned the awful missed call in Game 3 into a wonderful positive.
“Hey ref, check your voicemail. You missed some calls,” Boston winger David Pastrnak yells during the Dunkin Donuts commercial. St. Louis Blues fans initially yelled a few worse things after the San Jose Sharks won in Game 3 because of an obvious but not called hand pass.
So, St. Louis fans did something hilarious and great. They set up a fundraiser for the blind. Yep. And it’s raising a stack of cash (Fox TV 2)
