Stanley Cup Final Game 6 Best Bets and Promos

Barkov and Panthers Game 5 Stanley Cup Final, NHL trade talk and the Pittsburgh Penguins news

The Florida Panthers have another chance to clinch a Stanley Cup victory tonight at 8 p.m. in the inhospitable confines of Rogers Place.

Will Florida finally vanquish the Oilers? Or will Edmonton force another cross-country road trip for a Game 7?

Here are some of the best bets for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Game Side: Edmonton Oilers -120

The Oilers are deadly on home ice, going 7-4 in the 2024 playoffs. A monumental reason is Connor McDavid’s 25 home points.

The Panthers are a fantastic road team, going 7-2 over nine postseason road games. Yet, the Cats should already be drinking Champagne from the Stanley Cup and planning a parade.

The Panthers do not want to play this game.

The Panthers want to contain the Oilers’ offense but have issues with Edmonton’s speed. They’ve taken 11 minor penalties in the last two games, a clear sign of struggle.

Game Total: Over 5.5 Goals

Florida Panthers G Sergei Bobrovsky was the star of Game 1, facing 32 shots on his way to a shutout. Edmonton, however, carried the play through most of the game.

The Oilers registered 33 shots to the Panthers 18 and outchanced the Cats 22 to 18, with 13 high-danger chances. Bobrovsky was just that good.

As Pittsburgh Penguins fans know, Bob is streaky. Bobrovsky has not been anywhere close to that good for the last two games, allowing nine goals on 39 shots. The Oilers know they must dictate the pace and turn the game into a track meet to win.

The previous three games all went over the 5.5 total. I expect the same tonight.

FanDuel Sportsbook offers new players $200 in bonus bets if your initial bet of $5 wins. Bet the over tonight and rake in a big bonus with your winnings.

3-Way Result Regular Time: Tie +310

No game in this Stanley Cup Final has gone to overtime, but Game 6 very well might.

Bobrovsky has not looked sharp, while Edmonton G Stuart Skinner does enough to keep his team competitive. Stuart has yet to steal a game in this Stanley Cup Final like he did in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final.

I expect a desperate Florida team to throw everything they have at Skinner. Edmonton will no doubt want to test Bobrovsky early and often.

These teams will trade chances, and a 4-4 game at the end of regulation isn’t a stretch.
