The Pittsburgh Steelers’ task of getting their season on track gets no easier when they visit the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. PHN readers can cash in on the DraftKings promo exclusive, too.

Before we get to the Steelers bets, there are two DraftKings offers:

Get the 40-1 Odds Boost: Bet $5 on the Moneyline and win $200 with the latest DraftKings Promo.

–OR–

PHN Exclusive, Bet $5 and if Kenny Pickett (or any Steelers QB) throws for more than one yard, you win $150.

The Eagles (6-0) are the last team in the NFL with a perfect record and should be well-rested following their off week. The Steelers (2-5) have lost five of their last six games, including dropping a 16-10 road decision to the Miami Dolphins last Sunday night.

Philadelphia has not been kind to the Steelers over the years. They have lost nine straight games to the Eagles in the City of Brotherly Love.

The Steelers’ last victory there came in 1965 at Franklin Field, a place the Eagles haven’t called home since 1970. Bill Nelsen quarterbacked the Steelers to just one of two victories they had in 14 games that season.

Here are the Steelers odds and lines vs. Eagles at DraftKings:

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview

Off to their worst start since 2013, the Steelers and embattled coordinator Matt Canada will again try to get the offense moving under rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett. The Steelers are 31st among the 32 NFL teams in scoring and 30th in total yards.

Pickett has struggled since making his debut at the start of the second half in a Week 4 loss to the New York Jets. He has thrown seven interceptions in 127 attempts and just two touchdown passes.

The Steelers have lacked explosive plays as they are one of just three teams in the league without a rush play of at least 20 yards this season. They have also completed only one pass of 40 or more yards.

Part of that has to do with having an inexperience set of skill position players. Among them is second-year running back Najee Harris, who has just 329 yards rushing and one touchdown on 100 carries.

The Steelers’ inability to produce a consistent rushing attack has allowed opponents to put extra pressure on Pickett.

Meanwhile, the Steelers haven’t generated much pressure on opposing quarterbacks since reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt sustained a pectoral injury in the season opener. The Steelers have managed just five sacks in the six games Watt has missed after taking down Bengals QB Joe Burrow seven times in a Week 1 win at Cincinnati.

The lack of a pass rush could spell trouble against Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has played a big part in Philadelphia being 6-0 for just third time in franchise history.

The mobile Hurts has thrown for 1,514 and six touchdowns while being intercepted just twice in 184 attempts. He is also the Eagles’ second-leading rusher with 293 yards, trailing only former Penn State and Woodland Hills star Miles Sanders (485).

Meanwhile, the Eagles bolstered their pass rush this week by trading for Chicago Bears defensive end Robert Quinn, a three-time Pro Bowl selection. Though Quinn has only one sack in seven games this season, he set the Bears’ franchise record with 18.5 last year.

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Prediction

The Steelers haven’t won in Philly in 57 years, and it is hard to imagine them breaking that streak against an Eagles team given the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl behind the Buffalo Bills. Remember, the Bills demolished the Steelers 38-3 earlier this month.

This score won’t be quite so lopsided but look for the Eagles to score at will – and Pickett to build some confidence with some touchdowns during garbage time once the outcome has been decided.
