The Steelers have won seven straight games against the Colts, a streak that started in 2011. The teams last met in the 2020 season in Pittsburgh with the Steelers eking out a 27-24 victory in an empty Heinz Field during the pandemic.
Both teams are in desperate need of a win to keep their faint playoff hopes alive. The Steelers (3-7) have lost three of their last four games and the Colts (4-6-1) have dropped four of their past five.
Here are the Steelers’ odds and lines vs. Colts at DraftKings:

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
Both teams have rejuvenated running games.
The Steelers have rushed for 157.7 yards over the last three games. They averaged 87.9 in their first nine games of the season.
Najee Harris has had 99 and 90 yards on the ground for the Steelers in the last two games. Prior to that, his season high was 77 and he failed to crack the 50-yard mark in five of eight games.
In two games since Jeff Saturday replaced Frank Reich as the Colts’ coach, Jonathan Taylor has looked more like the back who won the NFL rushing title last season. Taylor has 231 yards in those two games after averaging 77 when Reich was calling the plays.
Look for the Colts to also get Taylor involved in the passing game, though he has managed just 97 yards on 21 catches this season. The Steelers rank last in the NFL in pass defense.

This could also be a game for Colts quarterback Matt Ryan to cut loose in what has been a disappointing first season in Indianapolis. He figures to frequently target wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., who has 67 receptions for 678 yards.
While Ryan is in his 15th season, Steelers rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett will be making his seventh career start. The Steelers are 2-5 in those games.
However, an encouraging sign is Pickett has not thrown an interception in the last two games while attempting 72 passes. He was picked off eight times in his first five games, including two games with three INTs.
Wide receiver Diontae Johnson, though, has become a highly paid decoy since Pickett replaced Mitch Trubisky as the starter in Week 5. Johnson has been targeted just five times in each of the last two games and has been showing signs of frustration about his lessening role.
Neither team has lit up the scoreboard this season. The Steelers are 28th among the 32 NFL teams in scoring offense with 17.0 points a game. The Colts are 31st with a 15.7 average and are ahead of only the Denver Broncos (14.7).

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Prediction
The Colts are playing on Monday Night Football for the first time since 2014 so that should certainly give them motivation to play well. So, too, should having a good chance to finally beat the Steelers in a down year.
It won’t be pretty, but the Colts should prevail by a slim margin.
