Letang Thrilled Crosby Signed, Suggests Buddy Could ‘Play Until 50’?! (+)
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby visited his fellow team core player Kris Letang over the summer. They talked about a lot of things, but not about Crosby’s contract status.
That could have been because Letang never expected Crosby to go elsewhere. Or because Letang can envision Crosby playing a lot longer. A lot longer.
Crosby on Monday signed a two-year contract that kicks in next July, taking him until the cusp of his 40th birthday. Letang is of the mind that it will probably not be his captain’s final contract.
