The Pittsburgh Penguins Round One series against the New York Islanders will begin Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m in New York at the Nassau Coliseum and Game 2 will be Friday night overriding an existing children’s concert.

Game 3 will be a nationally televised afternoon tilt at PPG Paints Arena and Game 4 will be next Tuesday.

There was some question if the series could proceed on a traditional, every-other-day schedule as a Disney production was scheduled at the Nassau County Coliseum. However, it appears the show has been moved or canceled.

Round One Schedule:

Game 2: Friday, April 12, 7:30 p.m. @ Nassau Coliseum  TV: AT&T Sportsnet

Game 5: Thursday, April 18 TBD Nassau Coliseum *If necessary

Game 6: Saturday, April 20 TBD PPG Paints Arena *If necessary

Another uninspiring defensive effort. I really think most Pen fans are far too optimistic about things. I’m not expecting a victory against NY.

Love the Pittsburgh media trolling. Let’s not forget where you came from. Not too long ago you were rattling off terrible seasons to get a string of top 5 picks. How many statues of Mario do you have thanking him for saving the team? The Penguins came a lot closer to moving than the Isles ever did.

Jeez Dan you hurt alot of people with your evil reporting of a schedule and tv listings.Thank God almighty you did not report the games are on CBC here in Canada or you would have been accused of helping Trump meddle in our future elections. How clever of you to hide your dastardly devised brand of chicanery and deception in a simple statement of fact.
