Penguins Chat: Draft Picks, Insights and Trade Tease

MONTREAL — And that’s a wrap. The Pittsburgh Penguins shipped one prospect away in the sixth round in exchange for one they liked a little better. In the fifth round, the Penguins drafted an NHL prodginee, while GM Ron Hextall teased a potential trade.

It was a wild week in Montreal for the 2022 NHL Draft.

Hextall told reporters who were there, including us, that he had some “balls in the air” and he would see where they land. You can use the collogial expression as you wish but Hextall does not speak haphazardly.
