Penguins Put Colin White on Waivers

The Pittsburgh Penguins have placed blue-collar forward Colin White on waivers.

If he is not claimed by another team by 2 p.m. Thursday, the Penguins could assign him to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre, although they have no obligation to do so.

White, who earned a contract after coming to training camp on a professional tryout, does not have any goals or assists in 11 NHL games this season.
